Fishin' for a Name

Introduction: When you see fish in nature, they probably look very similar to you. Some may look larger than others, or maybe they are different colors. Could you name the fish that you see? This activity will give you an idea of what fish are commonly found in the tidal waters of the Potomac watershed (downstream of the Great Falls). You will become comfortable with fish anatomy vocabulary, and learn to use body shape and other physical features to identify fish. Have fun!
