BTW
program has just completed its fourth academic year, and I'm
happy to say the program is growing! We are reaching teachers in five
more school districts and additional parks with the inclusion of Northern
Virginia Prince William Forest Park and Harpers Ferry National Park.
In other news, after countless edits and revisions, the BTW
curricula is
FINISHED and will be printed by the end of July. It has been a long, four-year,
process of writing, field-testing, and revising. Many NPS rangers, teachers,
and staff at Hard Bargain Farm have given insightful contributions that
have impacted the final draft.
