A Closer Look...



WHAT IS INVOLVED?

In each of the workshops, participants will complete all activities in the student booklet and learn how to conduct field studies in the national parks. Teachers may apply for more than one workshop if they intend to bring students to national parks to complete field studies.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE?

High school science teachers: Earth Science, Biology, Environmental Science, and Chemistry in District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia schools, and National Park Service rangers

STIPEND

$150 for completion of each workshop (2 Wednesday evenings and 1 Saturday)

REGISTRATION

Complete the printable application form and send it (snail-mail) to the address at the bottom of the application. A separate application should be completed for additional workshops.

REGISTRATION FEE

A $25.00 registration fee is required for each workshop. The $25.00 will be returned to you at the end of the workshop.
