SHARON RABIE, Naturalist
We'll have a great time exploring the outdoors, getting dirty, meeting the animals and learning about the natural world. Bringing kids and critters together helps us to learn respect and appreciation for all living things from the smallest to the largest.
TAMMY SHUPARD, Naturalist
My favorite things about the farm are: The marsh – there is always so much going on there and it is so beautiful; Searching for tracks to learn where animals have been going and study them; Dipping for macroinvertebrates in Accokeek Creek; Baby goats; Sitting under the juniper trees in Alice’s garden; Being in the mud or the water – I love to get messy and into nature.

 Hello!
The place I enjoy showing everyone is the marsh over-look, especially in the spring and summer when the animals are active.
Enjoy the Farm!!

I enjoy teaching the tools class and helping everyone complete the confidence/challenge course. However my favorite spot is the Potomac River shoreline and photographing birds there.
ANNA WADHAMS, Naturalist
I love to go canoeing on Piscataway Bay. My favorite animal on the farm is Bella the goat.

REBECCA SCOTT, Educator
On my first visit to Hard Bargain Farm, I was only 3 years old! I love that every time I visit the barnyard, there’s still a new adventure and I learn something more about our animals. Some of my favorite things to do are hiking in parks, kayaking, listening to new music, and taking photographs.
