Trash-A-Thon
Volunteers Working Toward a Trash Free Potomac Watershed!
WE NEED YOUR HELP!
- Join the Trash-A-Thon and contribute to the Potomac Regional Outreach and Awareness Campaign for Trash (PROACT) a developing media campaign to help solve our region’s litter problem. Local governments, businesses, and community groups are committed to this campaign, but we need the support of watershed citizens to succeed! We need your help!
What is the Trash-A-Thon?
- Structured like a walk-a-thon, participants ask family, friends, and neighbors to sponsor their clean-up efforts. All proceeds go toward a watershed-wide -- Potomac Regional Outreach and Awareness Campaign for Trash (PROACT)
How can we participate in the PRWC Trash- A-Thon?
- Print out a Trash-A-Thon Pledge Sheet. Sign up sponsors and collect donations for PROACT Campaign.
- Return your Trash-A-Thon Pledge Sheet and donations (A) to Ginny Harris by May 2, 2010, (B) to site leaders on Cleanup Day, or (C) have sponsors Pledge Online by May 2, 2010 (if your sponsors pledge online, please ask them to list you as the participant, then mail or fax us your Pledge Sheet).
- Go have fun and pick up trash!
Prizes will be awarded to the individual or group that raises the most money.
Thank You!!
