More Than a Typical Overnight Camp

This isn’t just time away from home — it’s a chance to grow.

At our Overnight Camp, kids build confidence through hands-on outdoor learning, supportive guidance, and meaningful experiences they can feel proud of. From their first night away to mastering a new skill, each day is designed to help them feel capable, included, and successful.

One of the most unique parts of this experience?

Every camper participates in our Junior Ranger Angler Program — a signature experience that sets this camp apart.

A Signature Experience
Junior Ranger Angler Program

Through the Junior Ranger Angler Program, campers learn the fundamentals of fishing in a structured, supportive environment.

With guided instruction and time on the water, kids practice casting, handling equipment, and building the patience and focus that fishing requires. Campers kayak to designated fishing areas under supervision, adding another layer of hands-on learning in a calm, well-managed setting.

This isn’t a one-time activity; it’s a skill-building experience.

Campers leave with the knowledge and materials to continue fishing beyond camp,
helping turn a new experience into a lasting interest.

This program is made possible through support from the National Park Foundation, helping connect young people to meaningful outdoor learning.

Confidence That Carries Forward

Every part of the Overnight Camp experience is designed to help kids grow. Through experiences like the Junior Ranger Angler Program and daily outdoor learning, campers:

> Build confidence by trying something new
> Gain independence in a supportive setting
> Learn real-world skills they can continue using
> Develop patience, focus, and problem-solving
> Form friendships through shared experiences

    A Supportive First Overnight Experience

We know that overnight camp can feel like a big step for both kids and parents. That’s why our program is intentionally structured to help campers feel comfortable from the start. With small groups, experienced staff, and a balance of activity and support, kids are encouraged at their own pace.

Whether it’s their first time away or they’re building on previous experience, campers are guided every step of the way.
