Silver Creek Cleanup

Silver Creek cleanup (railroard to Kent St and Frederick Avenue Neighborhood Park): please join us!
On May 21, 10 am thru 11:30 am, join us for a cleanup of Silver Creek in Kensington.

Meeting point: Kensington-Frederick Avenue Neighborhood Park, next to the Kensington House building (10221 Frederick Avenue). Put on sturdy shoes or rubber boots, and gloves.
The goal is to clean up the section from the railroad down to Kent Street and the neighborhood park.

The Town of Kensington has been contacted and will provide trash bags.
This event is organized by members of Warner Presbyterian Church in Kensington

  • Directions: The meeting point is at the neighborhood park (it is a small park, you can't miss the group. The cleanup site includes the banks and the stream of Silver Creek from the railroad (not included) to Kent street, and the neighborhood park.
