Summer Adventure Camp at
Hard Bargain Farm

Thank you for an amazing 2025 Summer!

Parent Handbook
2026 Registration Opens January 8th

About The Camp

There’s no better way to spend summer break than in nature at Hard Bargain Farm! Guided by our experienced educators, campers will explore the woods, wetlands, and Potomac Riverbank. Along the way, they’ll enjoy activities such as dip netting, finding tadpoles, and watching the eagles. Our unique property allows campers to experience life in the great outdoors – get to know our lovable goats, look for the coolest critters on a habitat hike, and dig in the garden. Campers will spend every day outside exploring nature and life on our beautiful environmental campus in Accokeek, MD.

Stovall Outdoor Scholarship Fund

Mikey Stovall tragically lost his life in the American Airlines Flight 5342 accident, leaving behind his wife Ashleigh, an educator here at the Alice Ferguson Foundation, and their son, Jake. In memory of Mikey and his passion for the outdoors, we are establishing this fund to underwrite outdoor experiences for other young Southern Marylanders who wouldn’t otherwise be able to participate. If you would like to contribute to the Stovall Outdoor Scholarship Fund, please follow the button below.
