School Program Fees


Please see below for our general, baseline program fee guidelines. Program costs are subject to change based on availability, number of students and activities. Contact us at education@fergusonfoundation.org for more information.

SCHEDULE YOUR PROGRAM

Day Programs at Hard Bargain Farm

10:00 AM – 2:00 PM (times may vary by school schedule)
Programs include two interactive educational activities led by our talented team. Participants bring lunch and water bottle.

Program fees for a group begin at $800.

Extended Day Programs at Hard Bargain Farm

10:00 AM – 7:00 PM (times may vary by school schedule) Programs include two interactive educational activities led by our talented team. Program also includes dinner, a hayride to the Potomac River and storytelling with s’mores around the campfire. Participants bring lunch and water bottle.

Program fees for a group begin at $2100.

Virtual Programs from Hard Bargain Farm

Program Time Determined by Class Schedule
$250, up to 1 hour class
$500, up to 3 hour class

Overnight Program at Hard Bargain Farm

10:00 am (Arrival Day 1) – 12:00 pm (Departure Day 2) (times may vary by school schedule)

Day 1: Programs include two interactive educational activities led by our talented team. Program also includes dinner, a hayride to the Potomac River and storytelling with s’mores around the campfire. Participants bring lunch day 1 and a water bottle along with overnight gear.

Day 2: Breakfast followed by barnyard activities, garden exploration and a group challenge course activity led by our talented team. Departure after lunch.

Program fees for a group begin at $3700.

Bridging The Watershed Field Study

Onsite field studies at specific National Park locations.

10:00 AM – 2:00 PM (times may vary by school schedule)
Program fees vary based on National Park and school group. Program fees for a group begin at $800.

Program Cancellation Policy


We do not cancel programs because of weather – programs are conducted rain, shine, cold, or heat. However, we will cancel at the school’s request or if the school is closed or on a delayed start schedule. If desired, the Alice Ferguson Foundation will attempt to reschedule a field trip, if dates are available. If you must cancel, it is your responsibility to contact the Alice Ferguson Foundation at (301) 292-5665 as far in advance as possible. Please note that if you cancel within two weeks of your program, 20% of your fee may be retained by the Alice Ferguson Foundation.
