Register for the 34th Annual Potomac River Cleanup at George Washington's Mount Vernon. Bags and gloves provided.
The Lakeford Community Association is conducting a watershed clean up of Fairview Lake and surrounding inlets. The event includes the removal of trash, debris, and recycle materials.
The clean up is held at the Fort Washington Lighthouse. Park in the Lighthouse parking lot and walk to the shoreline near the Lighthouse. There is a public restroom in the parking lot. Wear sturdy shoes as the shoreline is uneven in places with natural debris on the beach.
Clean up trash along loop road at Westchester Park in College Park, MD on April 9, 2022 at 10 am. Meet along road in front of 6028 Westchester Park Drive. If we have 3-5 people we should be able to be done in an hour.
Help us clean up Croydon Creek! Gloves and bags are provided. Participants must register for this free event.

The section to be cleaned up stretches from the railroad bridge over the canal up to the I-81 overpass. Organizers will gather at the boat-ramp beginning at 10 a.m. The clean-up will run from 10-noon. Bags, relevant equipment and disposable gloves will be provided.
